This course prepares students for entry-level positions as dental assistants. This course will introduce students to all phases of dentistry to include Law and Ethics, Infection Control, and General dentistry. 

The course prepares the student to take the California State Certification Exam to become a Certified Nurse Assistant. After being state-certified, the student may find employment in acute care or long-term care settings.

These courses are designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of the CNA and enhance the skills in the employer-based healthcare settings.
